| Chocolate Bread Pudding Cold buscuits 2-3 slices bread 1 cup milk (fresh or canned) ½ stick margarine 1 ½ cup sugar 3 tbsp cocoa ¼ tsp baking powder Crumble biscuits and bread slices in bowl. Heat milk and margarine together but to not bring to a boil. Pour milk and margarine over the bread mixture to soften it and stir together. In another bowl mix together the sugar and cocoa together and add to the bread mixture. Add baking powder. If mixture is not thick enough add a little flour. If mixture is too thick add more milk. Pour into a greased cake layer pan or a tin foil pan. Bake at 350° until done. Bread pudding should start to crack a little when it is done. |
