Pork Chops and Potatoes In a Pressure Cooker
3-4 tbsp shortening
6 pork chops
potatoes – peeled and cut up for stewing (medium pieces)
salt

Put shortening in pressure cooker pot. Heat Put 3 pork chops in pot, brown some, and remove. Place the other three chops in the cooker, and remove these from pot once browned. Place thin layer of salted potatoes in bottom of pot. Then add a layer of 3 pork chops. Add more salted potatoes and then a final layer of your three other pork chops. Bring pressure in cooker up according to the pressure cooker's directions. Cook for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let pressure diminish. Open pot and hope they taste like mine.

*There will be a little gravy in the bottom that you can spoon over the chops and potatoes. This comes from the moisture in the potatoes.
