| Beef Roast and Gravy 2 ½ – 3 lbs. Chuck Roast (Bone in or boneless) 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix 1 can golden mushroom soup 1 can water (use soup can to measure) potatoes (optional) carrots (optional) onions (optional) Put roast in large baking dish. Sprinkle Lipton onion soup mix over top of roast. Spread mushroom soup over it and add 1 can of water. Cover with tin foil and put in oven at 350°. Cook until roast in tender. You may have to add more water so there will be enough gravy. *add potatoes, carrots, and onions to baking dish (around roast) before baking if you wish to include these ingredients. |
