| String Beans and Potatoes 2 cans cut string beans salt fatback grease 3-4 potatoes Cook fatback, reserving grease. Put the 2 cans of string beans in medium size pot and season with 2 tsp. Fatback grease. Start cooking. Peel the patoes and slice fairly thin. Put potatoes on tob of beans. Sprinkle salt over potatoes and add 2 more tsp of fatback grease. Cook until potatoes are tender but not overcooked. |
